PHYLLIS SHEILA WILDER Phyllis Wilder died peacefully and with dignity on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the age of 87. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Marshall, to whom she was married for 65 years, her children, Leslie, David and Diane, her sister Lillian Neaman and Doug Skoog, her sister-in-law Phyllis and brother-in-law Sanford Brody. She will always be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Shira Wilder and Curtis Scamell, Tovah Wilder and Mark Halerawich, and great-grandchildren Aaron, Anthony, Amira, Tyson and Kylon. She cared deeply about her family, her friends and the traditional values of keeping a Jewish home. It was her love, guidance and strength of character that served as an inspiration to family and friends and that will never be forgotten. Phyllis had many good friends over the years with a special attachment to Evelyn Arkin and to Lily, Jorge and Tommy Feldman who were so good to her and her family. Honorary pallbearers: Arthur Arkin, Martin Brody, Sanford Brody, Allan Cantor, Easton Lexier, Jack Neaman, Alex Paulley and Curtis Scamell. Pallbearers: Brent Apter, Michel Aziza, Ron Cantor, Daniel Elbaze, Jorge Feldman, Jack Hurtig. Should you wish to honor Phyllis's memory, contributions would be welcome to the Phyllis Wilder Women's Endowment Fund at The Jewish Foundation of Manitoba, Jewish Child and Family Service, Jewish Heritage Centre of Western Canada, the Canadian Museum of Human Rights or to a charity of your choice.

PHYLLIS SHEILA WILDER We are saddened to announce the passing of Phyllis Wilder, wife of Marshall, mother of Leslie, David (Diane), and sister of Lillian. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Shaarey Zedek Synagogue. Longer obituary to follow.

  • I have known and worked for Mrs. Wilder for just a few years but felt like I had known hery entire life. She was one of the kindest person I have had the pleasure of knowing.
