Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE KLASSEN It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of George Klassen, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. George passed away Tuesday December 8, 2015 at 76 years of age. George was predeceased by his parents John and Nettie and his brother Ted. He will be deeply missed by his children Darren, Timothy (Deborah), Kelly (Blair), Cindy and Curtis, grandchildren Jenna (Jason), Riley, Haley, Camryn, Zoe, and Aliah along with great-grandson Jeremy as well as numerous relatives and friends. George was born on March 28, 1939. He grew up in Steinbach, where he enjoyed playing various sports and spending time with his siblings and friends. George worked in construction for over 35 years before retiring in 2008. He spent numerous years after retirement living with his oldest son Darren. George enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren usually while watching football or hockey. He will be remembered by his family for his love, wit, humour and his dancing. "You were taken from us too soon, too suddenly. We love you Dad and will miss you forever." A celebration of George's life will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy. Viewing will be held half hour prior to service. Cremation to follow.

Dad, I think about you everyday. Your pictures on my fridge. I saw the video of you dancing with Winston, I love that one. Certain songs on the radio I hear and I cry cuz they remind me of you.
