HELEN FOCHAK (nee KOSTATSKY) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Helen Fochak, on December 5, 2015 at the age of 92 years. Helen passed away peacefully and comfortably at the Victoria General Hospital. Helen will always live on in the hearts of her two children - Donna(David) Robertson, Debbie (Gregory) Zawortny and her much loved grandchildren - Ryan, Reid and Danielle. Helen is predeceased by her beloved husband, William, her parents Harry and Anastasia as well as her brothers - Joseph and Peter and her sister Pauline. She was also predeceased by her brothers-in-law Nick and Mike and sisters-in-law Mary, Teenie and Pauline. Helen was a very special lady who lived, in many ways, a simple life but made an extraordinary difference in the lives of her family and those who knew her. The words-honesty, integrity, dedication, loyalty, care and concern but most of all-unconditional love best describe the values that she lived by each day. The family was always the central focus of her entire life. According to her wishes, cremation has already taken place. A memorial service to celebrate her life is scheduled for Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street in Transcona.
