MAGDALENA PROTZEK Peacefully on December 8, 2015 at Riverview Health Centre, Magdalena Protzek passed away at the age of 83 years. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Alfons, son Peter (Lindy); daughters Linda and Vera (Ken); 8 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Mom and Dad married December 30, 1950 in Germany. They would have celebrated 65 years this month. In October, 1960, Mom and Dad made the decision to better our futures and moved to Winnipeg where we still reside. Mom worked at Paulin Chambers for 25 years before her retirement. Mom loved spending time with family, enjoyed knitting and crocheting gifts for family and friends. She also loved her puzzle books, playing cards and time out at the beach. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Due to her health, Mom spent her last days as a resident at Riverview Health Centre. "Gone But not Forgotten" In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Magdalena's name to Riverview Health Centre.
