Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLARRY BRUCE SWALLOW On December 1, 2015, Larry Bruce Swallow passed away peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 74. Larry was born in Welland, Ontario; son of Wallace Knight Swallow and Margaret Pearl Swallow. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary (nee Lindsay); sister Carol Bowers (Jerry) Homosassa, FL; daughters, Kim Schick (Garth) Vita, MB and Kari Parks (Brian) Winnipeg, MB. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jacob, Lindsay, Braydon, Tyler and Austin. After battling Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsy for the past five years of his life, which robbed him of his independence, Larry kept a positive attitude, sense of humour, and a joyful spirit. His smile was contagious. Larry always cherished visits with family and friends. Larry was a very kind, outgoing, generous and compassionate man. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family extends a special thanks to all the incredible caregivers both through Home Care, Deer Lodge, and all others who assisted him through his journey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Siloam Mission or Union Gospel Mission. Fondest memories, Port Colborne 1950-1978, trip to grandparents home in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Buffalo, wonderful visits with family, Florida visiting his dear parents, his mother Pearl a special spirit and gift to us all.
