SCOTT G. PATERSON November 9, 1977 - December 16, 2015 With his family by his side, Scott passed peacefully to a safer place. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Cole and Owen, parents George and Mary, brother Andrew (Tammy), and his many friends. Scott was born in Winnipeg and grew up with his brother Andrew in the close knit community of Riverview. He made lifelong friends there and with them attended Riverview School and later Churchill High School. He enjoyed playing hockey for the Riverview Rangers, Crescentwood Sabres and the Fort Garry Twins. He was also proud to play football for the Churchill Bulldogs. One of his other interests was teaching himself to play guitar and he would often jam with his buddies. He loved fishing and his dogs Max, Howie, Jersey, Harley and Chance. Scott had the brightest blue eyes, the sweetest dimpled smile and a generous spirit. He was an excellent dad with a big heart and loved his boys more than we can ever know. Unfortunately depression dogged him and took its toll in every aspect of his life. We would like to thank the angels on E2 ICMS, St. Boniface Hospital who worked so hard to keep Scott with us and Pastor Tim Fenlon for his words of comfort. We would also like to say Thank You to all of Scott's friends who supported him and his family through this difficult time. You are amazing. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Scott's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.glenlawn.ca Sweet dreams Scott, you are loved.
