Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Gordon was one of my favorite patients. He saw my dad for years and they always enjoyed a good laugh and this continued on with me. He referred patients to us too many to count. He always brought an Arthur Black (CBC) book along with instructions for me to read it and then pass along to my dad. He will be missed at our clinic as a great friend to our practice. Our sincere condolences Dianne. - Posted by: Dr. Luke Small, Optometrist (Friend/Patient ) on: Jan 19, 2016

  • A hard time for many here. We got to know Gordon through our business. He became a good and faithful customer and one that we had the pleasure of knowing and serving. He never complained and always paid up with gratitude, which is rare in todays society, but nevertheless appreciated. Aside from the business relationship we also shared many emails about a wide range of topics....mostly jokes, but many of a serious and thought provoking nature. We will surely miss Gordon in all that we have shared and are truly grieving his untimely passing. Best wishes for Diane and all family and friends at a very sad time. Rest in peace our friend. • Thank you Gordon for all your many kindnesses to my mother, Marg Durham, from all the driving into Winnipeg, or just taking her for a ride to get her out of the house, bringing her the weekly fruit, and having her to meals - Mom often said what a good cook you were. I'm sure there were many more kindnesses I don't even know about. A very thoughtful man who will be missed. My condolences to you Dianne - I'm thinking of you. - Posted by: Sylvia Ferens (nee Durham) () on: Dec 27, 2015
