Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURRAY PETER LUND It is with deep sadness Murray passed away after a courageous battle with leukemia on December 15, 2015 at the age of 78. He leaves to mourn his son Wayne (Denise); daughter Tamaris (Frank); grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Brittany and Mitch; three great-grandchildren; his brother Bruce; sister Barb and his two beloved dogs Champ and Princess. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Murray loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. In 1979, he moved to Calgary, later to the small town of Blackie, Alberta. He was a proud member of Al-Azhar Shriners, Alberta and the Lion's Club, District 37-0. In 2014, when he became ill with leukemia, he moved back to Winnipeg to be with his family for care and support. He was able to reconnect with his family and have them by his side in his final days. Special thanks to friend Glen Robertson of Blackie, AB, who spent many months helping Murray when he was first diagnosed. We love you Dad!

Murray was a good friend. I tried to show him how to use a computer and we both had a lot of laughs from that. I was sad to see him move but I knew that he wanted to be closer to his family.
