JAMES JOSEPH MURRELL April 25, 1941 - December 22, 2015 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his loving wife Ila, his children Tiffany and Tyler (Kelly), and granddaughter Madison. He also leaves behind his sisters and brother: Beth (Steve), John (Judy), Helen (Rick), and many nieces and nephews. He grew up in Oakbank and moved to Transcona when he married. Jim was a hard worker and spent countless hours in the garage tinkering. He could fix almost anything put in front of him. Many of his friends called him a perfectionist. Jim was an avid hunter in his youth. He had one of the largest, caring hearts for animals of all kinds. Celebration of James' life will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
