I met Sid when he was employed at Macleods store in Virden MB. His determination, personality and hard work saw his career blossom rapidly and he moved ahead to manage many facets of company operations. He was truly a customers man.Sadly due to relocation we did not see each other often and I truly missed his friendship. My sincere condolence to Joyce and his family on his passing. - Posted by: Bill Breadner (friend and fellow employee) on: Jan 01, 2016

Sid.....We are so very sorry you are no longer with us but relieved you're now without pain. We will forever remember your kindness and generosity. Always willing to lend a helping hand. From helping Gerry extinguish a neighbor's brush fire to your willingness to be there for us no matter what the situation. From the first day Joyce and I met you Sid, (at that place across the highway from where you lived on St. Anne's Road) to the last time we were in Winnipeg, you've always been the same caring and generous man, with a big smile and an equally big heart to go along with it. And let us not forget the "BEST" Caesar maker in all of North Kildonan. Our hearts are heavy as we know Joyce will be lost without her "light eyes". May you rest in peace Sid knowing that her amazing family and friends will be there with support and see her through that's most difficult times. Gone but not forgotten, with love Gerry & Linda - Posted by: Gerry & Linda Demski (Friends) on: Dec 30, 2015
