When Valerie was a little girl, even then she was a cheerful hardworker, taking care of the little ones and doing errands and chores to help her family. She had a glowing brightness of soul that made people feel refreshed and peaceful. Her mom Martina, friends of our Grandmother Mabel Courchene, Genevieve Guimond, Esther Fontaine, would send her (sometimes Randy and Patsy my best friend) to borrow sugar, and it was always an opportunity to play and hear her delightful laughter. RIP Valerie and condolence to our cousins and former north shore neighbors. - Posted by: Eva Marie and Gregory Harold (Sonny) Courchene family (relatives Ssgkeeng North Shore) on: Jan 03, 2016
