BEVERLEY SINCLAIR It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother "Nanny", Beverly Joyce Sinclair Gibson on December 12, 2015. Beverly was predeceased by her mother Rose; father Ken Sinclair; and stepfather Stan Shrupka; her first husband, Allan Gibson; her brothers, Larry and Myles Sinclair, Lloyd, and Derek Shrupka; her sisters, Marilyn Taylor and Val Mostowy; her grandson Nicholas Peron, and great-grandson Earl Sinclair. She leaves to mourn her brother Jim Sinclair (Darlene); her uncle Elmer Sinclair (Phyllis), and her nine children, Teresa, Bev, Carol, Tracy, Colleen, Kris, Mike, Pat, and Rob; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; sons-in-law Rick Watson, Terry Arnold; daughter-in-law Colleen Gibson and brother in law Edwin Mostowy "PeeWee"; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Beverly was born on March 2, 1940 in Selkirk, MB. She raised her large family in Thompson, MB where she served as organist for the St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church for several years. Beverley loved Christmas! She always made the holidays magical with lots of laughter, sleigh rides, and song. She passed away peacefully with her children at her side, listening to her favorite carols. A requiem mass will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church in Selkirk, MB at noon.

  • She will truly be missed by all of us, going to miss her conversations and her funniness. R.I.P.Bev - Posted by: Robin kimberley Hill (cousin) on: Jan 15, 2016

  • We both lived in Thompson, our houses almost back to back. Our lives were similar.....both having husbands who worked out of town and having young families. We were understanding of each others hard times. I remember well when Bev bought her large christmas tree from sears one year. It was huge and rotated, so you had to decorate it completely all over. She was so very proud of it. Even now years later every time I pass her house on Caribou I look at the living room window almost expecting to see her tree. Do you still have it in the family? We both shared our sad times. Sad memories but remembering her and her infectious laugh. It came from the heart. I close my eyes now and can hear her laugh and her love for Avon's to a wild rose toiletries. - Posted by: Barbara Brass (friend) on: Jan 14, 2016
