BEATRICE STARKMAN It is with great sorrow the family of Bea Starkman (nee Katz), announce her passing on December 30, 2015, in her 93rd year. Left to cherish her memory are sons Akivah (Cynthia) and Gary (Melynnda), grandsons Adam (Christine) and Randy, and much beloved sister, best friend and caregiver Malke Shore. Bea also leaves many nieces and nephews and their extended families all of whom were very important to her. Funeral services were held January 3, 2016, at Rosh Pina Cemetery, Rabbi Lander officiating. Pallbearers were Adam and Randy Starkman, nephews Ron Katz, Bernie, and Jullian Shore, and Zvi Gordon. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Bea's name may do so to Jewish Child and Family Services of Winnipeg. At this time, we would also like to thank the staff at Lion's Manor for their compassion and care of our mother, for the last five years.
