  • I lived in St. Elizabeth when your Mom and Dad owned the store. I spent a lot of time with them. They were like family, I loved them very much. Your Mom was one of the girls in my Mom's birthday club. They had so much fun. Last time I spoke to your Mom we had a very long talk and reminisced. She was one special lady, who had a special place in my heart. I know Jocelyne and Mike the best, but would like to send my love to all the family. May Gabie rest in peace. - Posted by: Gisèle Hansen (friend) on: Jan 03, 2016

  • I remember Madame Gaby as a charming person. She loved to sing and was always up-beat and full of fun prior, during and after choir practices and masses. I remember harmonizing with her during certain hymns. I am sure she is with the love of her life (Monsieu Aurèle) who loved to sing as well. Yes, Heaven is for REAL!!! - Posted by: Joseph Marc Bruyere (Fellow Choir member at Paroisse Ste-Famille-Holy Family Parish ) on: Jan 03, 2016

  • When the Desaulniers family moved next door to us on St. Jean Baptistery who knew how intricate our lives would become. When our parents died so close to each other Aurele and Gabie opened their home and hearts to us four children who had become orphaned adults. Their love and support carried us through some tough times. A better mom could not have been found, she is now reunited with the love of her life Aurele....Cherish the memories she made for you Jocelyne, Michel, Joel, Rene and Sylvain she is now your Guardian Angel with Papa Desaulniers up in heaven...that is after she she reconnects with everyone that went before her. - Posted by: Jocelyne Durand (nee Moquin) (Very close friend of the family) on: Jan 03, 2016
