Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELYN MAE HILTON December 16, 1928 - December 21, 2015 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Evelyn Mae Hilton, age 87, on December 21, 2015 at Victoria Hospital. Mom leaves to mourn her husband Ken, of 65 years, sons Alan (Lesley) and Don (Karen), grandchildren Riley, Brittany (Derek), Brant, Callie, and great-grandchildren Peyton and Tavin. Mom, in her earlier years, was an active participant in curling at the Fort Rouge Curling Club and golfing with the Alloys at Niakwa Country Club. As a sports fan she thoroughly enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play a variety of sports. Her great-grandchildren will remember games of tiddly winks and birthday celebrations in the sunroom. Mom and Dad were very fortunate in that they spent numerous winters in Palm Springs. Ev cherished the desert sun and happy hours with her winter friends. She also loved her time spent at West Hawk Lake. Ev and Ken created many opportunities for summer fun - be it jumping off the dock, waterskiing, delicious hamburgers and games of rummoli, cards or crib on the veranda. Her home was her castle and family will fondly remember her wonderful roast beef dinners, two egg sponge cake and apple pie. Most importantly, Ev was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

As a friend of Al & Don's, I remember many times visiting Ev & Kenny at their home in Riverview. I always remember Ev's beautiful smile and welcoming spirit into their home. She had a knack of making you feel comfortable at any time of the day. My thoughts are with the Hilton family during this difficult time. RIP Ev!
