Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD CHARLES NICHOLLS 1936 - 2015 Our family is saddened by the loss of Richard on December 17, 2015 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. His wife Yvonne predeceased Rich in December 2014. He is survived by his sister Annabel Baker, his children Cecily DeVries (Garth), Michael Nicholls (Roseanna), and Carla Nicholls, his grandchildren John, Kari, Jefre, Andrew, Claudia, Haley, Dustin, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Richard grew up in St. James and as a young man joined the Canadian Navy. He returned to St. James in early 1960. In 1971 he moved to Alberta to spend many years working in the oil industry. He retired to Wetaskiwin with his cherished wife Yvonne and his dog "Patches". He will be lovingly remembered by us all.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Ritchie's family. I have fond memories of the time spent at the Nicholls' home in St. James! Ritchie was a few years older than I and I recall how impressed I was to see him in his Navy uniform!
