Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHILDA STEWART KALCSICS (nee DRAPER) It is with broken hearts that we share the news of Hilda's passing on December 3, 2015 at Vancouver General Hospital. She is survived by her husband and best friend Doug; only daughter Sarah; loving sister Merle; and many other relatives and friends across Canada and around the world. Hilda was born in Glasgow, Scotland and immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba as a child with her parents and Merle. Hilda and Doug were fortunate to move to Vancouver Island ten years ago where gardening and hiking were enjoyed all year round. Hilda was a special person. To have been loved by Hilda was a privilege. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private interment at a later date. If one wishes, a remembrance donation may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in her memory.
