Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK W. FEDORUK Frank W. Fedoruk died suddenly on December 1, 2015 in his home in Nanaimo, B.C. Frank was born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba. The son of William and Antoinette (Zapotoczny) Fedoruk. He was a great reader which he has passed on to many of his family members. He loved to tell stories of when he worked as a pin boy at the local bowling alley when he was young, and would sometimes be found writing poetry in his family's chicken factory with feathers flying around his head. Frank lived in Edmonton for many years running his own small business, Frank's Mobile Tax Service. In his later years he moved to BC to be closer to his family. He is survived by his daughters, Kristin and Margot Fedoruk; sons-in-law, Steve and Rick and grandchildren, Hailey, Chloe, Daphne and Thomas.

Came across Frank’s business card today and decided to attempt reconnecting. Very saddened to hear of his passing. Frank submitted my taxes for many years. His move to British Columbia coincided with my retirement. Tax season at Frank’s was an example of a passing whirlwind with files everywhere. Feeling that Frank didn’t take the time to eat properly, my papers came with sandwiches and a six pack at drop off and pickup. Years later, Frank told me he really appreciated the food and his staff enjoyed the beer because he didn’t drink. Frank, thank you for everything. Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Don Predy (Tax client and considered Frank a friend) on: May 06, 2020

Frank and I met in Winnipeg in 1979 - a lifetime ago! Such an interesting man, with a great sense of humour and fun. I am sad to hear of his passing, my condolences to his family. - Posted by: Wendy MacMillan (nee Thomas) (Friend) on: Apr 06, 2016

Frank was instrumental in hiring me in 1975 right after graduate school. I ended up with The Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation while he was its general manager. This was a very dynamic time and place for social policy with more than than 10,000 units of subsidized housing being built throughout Manitoba, an extraordinary number relative to what was or has been built elsewhere and since. Frank's hard-driving and focussed management contributed much to this accomplishment. - Posted by: Julian Isitt (Work colleague) on: Mar 14, 2016

I was saddened to have learned recently of Frank's death. He was a great friend. I appreciated his wit, charm and sense of humor which complemented his sharp intellect. To reference a song Frank sang with panache, Frank did it his way. I'll miss you, Buddy. My condolences to Frank's family. - Posted by: Dan Simcoff (Friend) on: Mar 05, 2016

I was shocked to hear from a friend in Winnipeg that Frank passed away. When we were children growing up a few blocks apart, we were guests at most of each others' birthday parties and even spent several weeks together at my grandfather's Winnipeg Beach cottage. We lost touch as we grew up but I will always remember our sunny days together. - Posted by: Stan Martin (cousin) on: Jan 05, 2016
