Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Judy was one of a the most beautiful, loving, talented people I ever knew. We met in our teens, life happened and we went our separate ways. Was it a dream or a fantasy; all I know is that I will never forget her. 50 years has passed since I last saw Judy; yet last night, she came to me in a dream. She was dressed in white, beautiful and glowing in a bright light, like the star she was. I held her long and hard, one last time. I woke dazed, as if I was in a place I have never been in before. I knew something was wrong, and searched and found this. I know my words an absurdity, given my absence for so long; but I offer my deepest condolences to her family, her mother Dori and her brother John. We were all blessed to have here with us. She was happy when I saw her in my dream, may she continue so with the Angels, and may her memory be remembered for a blessing. - Posted by: N Michael Ross (previously Nicholas Synenko) (First Love) on: Nov 19, 2017

  • Jude, my precious and beautiful cousin, my soul mate in so many ways. Memories of happy times, sad times, giggle fits, sharing our most intimate secrets, and those ah ha moments. Jude, always remembering your presence lighting up the room like a thousand birthday sparklers, a glorious super star delightful, engaging and loving personality. Seeing in our mind's eye...that gorgeous smile, resilient and shining eyes, your unmatchable gift of language and brilliant mind, - your capacity to love everyone . Your essence remains with us in our hearts forever ...Happy Birthday Jude! We send you our love every day and miss you deeply. You rock Annie Oakley...my beautiful Cous' Bonita, Barry and Jason. • You introduced Judy and I to Henkell Trocken. I toast you and the memories that you have left us of our university days, your visit with us as newly marrieds in Thunder Bay and to when you hosted us on more than one occasion when we returned to visit our home town. Until we meet again... - Posted by: Ken Oryniak (University day friend and husband of her maid of honour in her first marriage to Ian McIver) on: Jan 08, 2016

  • Judy, you were always generous with your friendship and enthusiasm. Summer at the lake will be less fun without you. All my thoughts to you Howard. - Posted by: Suzanne Ullyot (friend) on: Jan 07, 2016

  • I close my eyes and I remember. I see Judi with my mother in the kitchen of our home and they are laughing out loud. Bright eyes, a quick wit, a fabulous smile and a great sense of humor all gone too quickly. Love and prayers reach out to your family. God Bless the child in each of us. - Posted by: Sandy MacIver (former brother in law) on: Jan 07, 2016
