Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRIAN BOOTH January 22, 1935 - January 1, 2016 Brian Booth (Boots) passed away January 1, 2016, just 20 days before his 81st birthday. Brian was born in Kenora, Ontario to Eleanor (nee Martin) and Fred Booth of Manchester England. Brian and his wife Rhonda (nee Poizer) enjoyed working all over Canada with the Pipeline and traveling with their children Tom (Kim), Donna and Colleen. His greatest loves were his grandchildren: April, Joe, Kathleen, and Tegegn his pride was obvious in every story and photo he shared about their lives. He liked spending time with his sister Dorothy and her children Mike and Chris. Many hours were spent at the cabin or reminiscing with Paul and Pat Rieshel. There are many people who Brian considered family Gord, the Janik Boys, Gale, Ryan, Rose, Wally, Sandy Robinson, the Harder Family, Betty Hein, Linda, Gitte, Andrew, Cameron, Cathie and Carl; as well as all his kids' highschool friends who he lovingly labelled with such "endearing" nicknames. Brian had a very special kind of Christmas magic that he shared over the years with the community. Brian is the kindest/grumpiest man who would help anyone whenever he could without hesitation and without wanting recognition. Brian greatly appreciated the care and comfort he received from the amazing staff at St. Pierre Hospital. Love you forever Big Guy! Gosh I feel very fortunate that Lorne Verville advised me of the passing of old friend Boots. We were all part of a group in High school in Kenora where we had a great time. I really lost contact with Boots when I went to university in Kingston On and didn't get back to Kenora except for a couple of High school reunions. I worked for only Imperial oil and lived all over the Us and Canada. I'm very happy to now know that he had a very family rich life. I still have good memories of those days Harold Tilley - Posted by: Harold Tilley (high school friend in Kenora) on: Jan 11, 2016

Bud Budworth and I are in Mexico and were talking about the old days in Kenora and of course Boots Booth's name came up. We reminiced about those times and I mentioned that I hadn't seen Boots in some time. Time flies and unfortunately we all never got together again for a reunion. May you rest in peace old buddy.
