Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEATHER KITCHEN (nee PARKER) March 5, 1938 - January 3, 2016 With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Heather Kitchen on Sunday, January 3, 2016. Heather is survived by her (step) children: Nanci (Vern), Jeff (Sharon) and Jane; and her five grandchildren, Marley (Chris), Jennifer (Ben), Craig, Ben and Anna, as well as her many nieces and nephews, and loving friends, especially Rose. Heather was predeceased by her husband Daniel (Danny); her sisters, Margaret Larson and Doreen Harron; and her parents, Walter and Minnie. Heather worked for Eaton's for many years, as well as The Lung Association and the Seniors Job Bureau. She finally retired allowing travel with Dad, spending time with family and friends, flying model airplanes and many games of Cribbage, Yahtzee and word puzzles and games. The family would like to thank the excellent staff at Riverview for their exemplary care of Heather. Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private gathering. Heather was my mother Margaret's youngest sister. Although due to distance we didn't get together often, In the early days I always remember her smile, her musical abilities singing and playing piano. The Parker family were such a musical family enjoying lots of fiddle and piano songs when they all got together. She was always interested in all of us 5 girls in my family and her and Danny got to meet my husband Neal on a visit to Swan River.
