Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET JEAN PETHRICK (nee AIREY) April 12 1923 - January 5 2016 Jean Pethrick, age 92, died January 5, 2016, peacefully, after a brief illness. She was predeceased by husband Dan and brother Jeff Airey. Jean will to be remembered by sons David (Sandra), Tim (Deborah), and Wayne (Louella), grandchildren Gordon, Laura, Alison, Helen and Carolyn, great granddaughter Natalie, sister and best friend Joyce Cameron, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was a lifelong proud Winnipegger who had many dear friends in the community. She was a member of the Clifton Ladies Bowling League for decades, and also enjoyed gardening, travelling and knitting all kinds of warm clothing for her family. Jean's greatest pride and joy was her children, grandchildren and extended family. Her kindness and gentle wisdom will be missed by all those who knew her. Sincere thanks to all her caregivers, especially at Sturgeon Creek One Retirement Residence, where she resided during her last years. Cremation has taken place. A private family ceremony and celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
