MATILDA BASTL (nee KODRIC) Matilda passed away peacefully on January 7, 2016, at the Seven Oaks Hospital, at age 93. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Josephine Bastl, son Vladmir (Judi) Bastl, grandsons Michael and David (Irene), great-granddaughter Marissa, her sister Julia Potochniak, friends and relatives. Matilda was predeceased by her husband Joseph. Prior to her retirement she worked at Health Sciences Centre in the X-Ray Department. Matilda loved to garden, do needlework and bake. She enjoyed when friends came for coffee. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. You will always be in our hearts.... Because there, you are still alive. 204-586-8044
