CATHERINE PELLEGRIN
Date of Passing: Jan 01, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE PELLEGRIN Catherine died on New Year's Day as she lived, in peace and gentleness, and full of grace. Her family commends her to God's keeping "until we meet again": her husband Bruce (Rev. Dr. VBH Pellegrin); her children, Theresa Johnson (Bruce), Christina Guest, Michael Pellegrin (Lyne); her grandchildren, Rebecca Johnson, Geoffrey and Jonathan Guest, and Marion, Charlie and Juliette Champoux-Pellegrin. Catherine was predeceased by her parents, Monica and Derek Arnold, and her beloved daughter Jacqueline. Catherine and Bruce lived in Winnipeg from 1968 to 1980, first in Charleswood and then in St. Norbert. Catherine supported Bruce through his time as Dean of Divinity at St. John's College, and his ministries at the Anglican parishes of St. Michael and All Angels and the Church of the Good Shepherd. A celebration of Catherine's life took place at St. James Anglican Church in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia, on Thursday, January 7, including burial at Newport Landing Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0. The family wishes to thank all those who offered prayers and support since we learned of Catherine's cancer in early December. We gratefully decline flowers but invite memorial donations to The Primates World Relief and Development Fund - http://pwrdf.org/2015/ responding-to-the-syrian-refugee-crisis/
