• Keith & Veda have fond memories of dropping by Birds Hill and being treated to Allens corn-on-the-cob (leaves left on the corncob) after being soaked in water for hours then tossed onto the steel grate over a blazing fire, Allen roasted them to perfection. • I have many fond memories of times spent with Allen, Mona and the Winnipeg group when I was a kid as well as times they came out to Alberta for visits and the celebration of my Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary. Allen always had a big smile to welcome you no matter what the occasion. I was so blessed to have seen him at a cousin's mini-reunion in Winnipeg about 4 years ago. Mona and family, may peace be with all of you as you celebrate his life and may his spirit always be part of your memories.
