COLLEEN SUSANNE ROBERTSON Born on ALL SAINTS DAY, November 1st. Ten years have passed since we lost you. At age 17, you not only accepted this lucky man but also his two diapered boys! Twice you had left us (heart stopped) ... twice GOD returned you! With your heart pager in hand, and grandma to three boys, wanting a girl so much but not knowing if you would even live to see this baby born; Mila Marie, our first grand girl, arrived exactly 25 years to the very day that my eyes first met yours, on a January 14th - Mila was tagged as our 'miracle' girl, gifting you with another seven years of life, coming straight home from the hospital nursery to live with us! Mila just turned 17 and she is often told just how much she looks like you ... and acts like you! Though you are not with us in body, but surely 'in spirit' and in our hearts & memories, not a day passes that you are not thought of! Not a day goes by that I don't see you within our kids ... our grandkids! Since you left us, we have been blessed with another eight grandkids, last four being girls, putting them ahead 7 - 5!!! When speaking in schools, challenging our young generation to STAY ALIVE ... that LIFE IS WORTH LIVING, I share your story, a story about a girl that simply 'cared' for and about others! You are the inspiration behind Caring Cards! Cards that are now being given out world wide by many when they witness or catch someone in the simple act of 'Caring'! Just as you always did! I thank GOD always that HE answered my prayers on that cold January 14th night, four decades ago! I had asked for just one three minute dance, saying you could walk away at any time ... but you stayed for 33 years - We are all born to earth ... to die to HEAVEN - Deservedly you are in HIS CARE now - WE love you!
