Condolences & Memories (13 entries)

  • Aw Rosie, you will be sadly missed by us all. You were friend and inspiration to all you touch. Never asking for 'if you needed', you always came with your hands loaded and with a heart as well. If Betsy ever had a true friend that she could count on, it was YOU. If they have a hair salon in Heaven, I'm sure you and Betsy will be yukking it up, telling stories and jokes that would make you two the life of the party. Your 'one of a kind' Rosie, your kind are few and far between and pass through this world so rarely; but well your here, you leave a lasting impression on those that you come in contact with. Rest now Rosie, you did your job well! - Posted by: Edward Skilnick (Good Griend) on: Feb 10, 2016

  • My connection to Rosie was through my mother, Beth Skilnick. The two were friends for many decades and is seems Rosie has been in and around our family life as long as I can remember. Rosie was always fun and kind, but was particularly an amazing and dedicated support to Beth over the past year while my mom battled cancer. Rosie visited almost daily at the house, and later to the hospital. Her presence was such a wonderful support and I want her family to know how much she was appreciated by us. We are saddened by her passing, and so very sorry for your loss. From Renay, on behalf of the Skilnick Family. - Posted by: Renay Taylor-Besant (Friend) on: Jan 22, 2016

  • One of my fondest memories of Rosemarie is of all the fun we would have at church while singing in the choir. We would always try to make each other laugh when we were supposed to be seriously singing a piece. Such good times! She was always ready with a smile no matter whenever we would meet up and always ready with a laugh. A wonderful lady! She is already greatly missed! - Posted by: Heather Reimer Matthes (Friend) on: Jan 20, 2016

  • Rosie was our neighbour and a friend for many years. We enjoyed many back lane parties together. If she knew you were sick, she would always be at your door bringing food and asking how you were. She was always interested in what our kids were doing. We enjoyed a great cruise to the Caribbean with her - her smile beaming the whole time. We will miss talking to her as she always stopped when she was driving down the back lane with Chase in the passenger seat. Rest in Peace Rosie. - Posted by: Mel & Ray Paulson (Neighbour & friend) on: Jan 19, 2016

  • My heartfelt condolences to the Rybachuk family. Having spent a lot of time in the Rybachuk house growing up, all I can say is thanks for the wonderful memories! I think back and smile and laugh. Mom sure had a great sense of humor and even if she was really mad, she would laugh at herself with the things that she would say! She certainly wasn't shy to voice her opinion and I remember her telling me "like it is" on more than a few occasions! She put her family FIRST at all times and put great effort into raising her family. I will miss her but remember her fondly and with great love & admiration for what a strong woman she was. - Posted by: Trena (Family Friend) on: Jan 19, 2016
