SUSAN ROSS (SHATSKY)
Born: Apr 20, 1943
Date of Passing: Jan 14, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUSAN ROSS (SHATSKY) April 20, 1943 - January 14, 2016 Predeceased by father Bert and husband Arnold. Survived by her mother Marjorie; brother Rick; children, Stacey (Daniel), Sheri, Benji (Wendy); and grandchildren, Morgan, Addison, Aiden and Sophia. Being a mom was the most important thing in the world to her. She was always looking after her kids and never stopped helping, feeding and caring for them. She remembered every birthday, every appointment, anything important at all, she knew and was a part of. Susan was always a generous person. With her kids, late husband, friends and family. She could always be counted on for a ride, for a loan, a supper, a game of Mahjong or Bridge. She would do anything for anyone. Her sense of humour always kept her going, kept the family going. It wasn't always appropriate, but it was always funny. Thankfully, even into her last days, even in the hospital, she joked with the doctors, and the nurses, there was always time to make someone laugh. As her illness progressed, she was always comforted by her friends, family and never-ending support from the people in her condo complex. A big thank you to her doctors of many years, Dr. Giesbrecht, Dr. Ogarenkow and Dr. Grenier. Her four grandchildren were so lucky to have known her well. Everyone is full of amazing memories of Susan, Mom, Gramma. The lady that everyone loved. Everyone knew. Everyone counted on. Her children were with her on her last days, and she left us quietly and at rest. She fell asleep completely at peace, and may she rest there.

I can still see us all playing in the cars parked in front of all of our houses on queenston street, then I got married moved away to Calgary and never saw each other again, I often thought of u, but I have never been to Winnipeg since my parents have passed, but I think of those good old days often. My condolences to your brother and kids and Marj, omg how she has outlived us all. I lost my husband 11 years ago and it seems I have been alone forever. Keep her smiles and laughter going kids, she was a wonderful caring and giving prson, Sheila Steinfeld - Posted by: Sheila Steinfeld (pld friend and neighbor) on: Jan 25, 2016
