NELLIE ADELINE BESSER (SZYDLIK) August 16, 1933 - January 22, 2016 On Friday, January 22, 2016, Nellie Besser passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital. Nellie is survived by her sons Richard (Karen), Robert, Ronald and daughter Joan (Donald), brothers George, John, sisters Judy (Wayne), Linda (Cease) and sister-in-law Sharon, grandchildren Cameron (Julie), Chad (Dana), Chris (Stacey), Candice, Lindsey, Skyler and Grayson, great-grandchildren Cole, Nevaeh, Calie, Caden, Landen and Jaxon, and numerous cherished nieces and nephews. Nellie was predeceased by her husband Henry, brother Stanley, sisters-in-law Helen Szydlik, Jean Szydlik, and Helen (Besser) Loeppky and brothers-in-law Edward and Robert. Nellie was a thirteen year cancer survivor before finally succumbing to the disease. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Concordia Hospital and CancerCare for all their support and kindness provided to her and to our family. At Nellie's request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9

My deepest condolences to Joan, Don and the entire Besser family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and my wish is that the memories that Nellie created brings you strength to endure the days ahead. Thank you for welcoming me into your family and having the opportunity to share great memories of this beautiful lady inside and out.
