I'm so sorry for your loss and wish all the best to your family in the future. Due to medical testing I was unable to attend the service. Russell was a student of mine and someone I still talk to through his employment at Maxim Truck. Russell always spoke so highly of his father and the variety of projects they worked on. I wish Russell and the family all the best as they rebuild their lives and hope to speak to Russell to share my condolences. - Posted by: Lawrence Danylchuk (Teacher) on: Jan 30, 2016

I do not know this family, but I just wanted to give my deepest condolences to each one of you. In reading your story, and the sentiments here, Mrs. Schellenberg, your husband and son were truly loved, and deeply cared about. This is a testimony of the love, joy and peace he must have brought to not only you, his family, but to everyone he met. May God bring you extra peace now, and give you strength to get through the days and years ahead. May you continue to have family and friends surround you in the coming years that will hold your hand and walk with you on this rough road ahead of you. In Christ's love..... - Posted by: Kim Ellison () on: Jan 29, 2016

We have known Gary and his family for over 45 years. Over this time we gotten to know a hard working and a soft spoken man. His family was always atop of his priorities, Gary enjoyed working at his job and often talked about it. but when he came home he had more work to do, from getting fire wood, to repairing the kids bikes and later their quads and dirt bikes. He was very handy at repairing things and known by as "Mr. Fix It" by his friends. If you ever needed something fixed, he would always have time to fit you into his busy schedule and have you looked after in no time. My grandson Oliver played with Evan at school and when I came over to visit Gary or to get something repaired. If you were a fortunate as I to have your heart touched by Gary you would have known a truly great person and friend. - Posted by: Chester and Penny Wawrzyniak (Cousin) on: Jan 27, 2016

As one of my students, Evan always impressed me as someone who worked hard, striving to achieve his highest potential. What a great school, what a great community, and what a great society we would be living in if we all did as Evan did: striving for our highest potential at all times. This is a life lesson we all can take from him. Thank you, Evan. My deepest condolences to the family, and to all involved and touched by this tragedy. - Posted by: Art Zuke (Teacher) on: Jan 27, 2016
