RAJINDRA SINGH SHAH We are sad to announce the passing on October 27, 2015 in Surrey, BC of Rajindra Singh Shah; born on August 15, 1930 in the village of Chawinda Devi, India. Raj, as he was known to his friends, spent his childhood in the village and his youth in Lahore and Simla. In 1954 he went to England for further studies. He taught in England before coming to Winnipeg with his friend and wife Henny in 1963, who predeceased him in 1994. Raj spent many years teaching until his retirement in the Winnipeg One school division. He also had a passion for business and spent many hours on his property management projects. Raj loved to travel and his family was gifted with the opportunity to visit and learn about the geography and history of many places in the world. Raj is survived by his children Kamala, Hans, Ramaish and Indira. He also leaves to mourn him his second wife and companion of seventeen years Shalini and her children Ajay (Rejoo, Jenny and Willy), Veenu, and Sanjay. Immediate cremation has taken place.
