Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE STASIUK November 30, 1913 - January 19, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother after a long and happy life. She was predeceased by her loving husband Michael in 1998 and her cherished granddaughters Nicole (1991) and Michele (2013). She is survived by her sons Gerald (Violet), Robert (Louise) and Michael (Patricia); grandchildren Michael (Wendy), Kim (Brian), Allison (Nate) and Christopher; and great-grandchildren Ryan, Matthew, Mae, Darby, Mikka and Sean. Mom was a spiritual woman who loved gardening, cooking and her nighttime radio programs. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Mom will be dearly missed by her family, friends and caregiver Rosemarie who all enjoyed her incredible knowledge of world events, her great sense of humour, sharp wit, tenacity, strength and courage. Mom will remain in our hearts and memories forever. God Bless you Mom. A funeral service to honour Mom's memory was held on Saturday, January 23, 2016, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Vancouver, BC.
