KATHERINE RONDEAU (nee BURAK) Peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2016 surrounded by her family, our beautiful, loving Mother passed away at age 89 when she entered into rest with our Saviour. Mom was born in Meleb, Manitoba on November 8, 1926 to Stefan and Khristina Burak. She was predeceased by her husband Lucien; and sisters, Anne Keryluk-Duplych, Mary Sokil, Jesse Dell, Pauline Spakowski, Jean Zagrodnik and daughter-in-law Laurie Rondeau. Left to cherish her wonderful memories are her five sons, Larry (Olga), Garry (Barbara) of Oakbank, MB., Terry (Lorna), Randy (Lorie), Lenny, all of Winnipeg; her brother William Burak (Fleurette) of St. Catherines, ON, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was also a beloved Grandmother to 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who loved her dearly. Mom was very passionate in life about her family, friends, and she cherished her five sons. She always told us to love each other as much as she loves us. A special thank you to Mom's Homecare Attendants at Access Transcona and the nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital. A private family service has taken place. Rest peacefully Mom, until we meet again.
