KON-YU TSEN It is with great sadness that the family of Francis Kon-Yu Tsen announces his sudden passing on January 30, 2016, at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre, at the age of 77. Kon-Yu came to Canada in 1985 from Sabah, Malaysia. Kon-Yu is survived by his wife Yun-Thai, son David (Alice), daughter Rose (Dominic), son Siong-Vui (Evon), grandchildren: Jason, Kevin, Lester, Oliver, Raidon and Ryland, and his brothers and their families in Malaysia and Toronto. Kon-Yu was predeceased by his father Tsen King-Yun, mother Liaw Thai-Kiau, daughter Tsen Siong-Yun and his three sisters. The family would like to thank the staff at Charleswood Care Centre and the Golden Door Geriatric Centre. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 5 at Bardal Funeral Home on 843 Sherbrook Street from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Funeral services and prayer will be held on Saturday, February 6 at Bardal Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with cremation to follow.
