PATRICIA ELAINE YOUNG (nee JOBE) May 15, 1927 January 30, 2016 On Saturday, January 30, 2016, Mom passed peacefully with family by her side, at the age of 88 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was born in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan, on May 15, 1927, the ninth of 10 siblings. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Lester; siblings, Bob, Jim, Irvine, Tom, Ruby, Jus and Bert, baby Alice, and Norah. Remaining to cherish their memories are her children, Danny and Doris Young, Diane and Kelly Allen, Elaine and Bryan Ross and Tricia Young; as well as her nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and dear friend, Ali. Mom had many passions in life, but her greatest joy was family gatherings. The family is grateful to the staff at Golden Links Lodge, Dr. P. Bedder, Gwen at Thorvaldson Care Home and Laird Hickaway for providing such loving care. A celebration of Patricia's life will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in The United Church in Meadowood, 1111 Dakota Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. All are welcome.
