A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Oakbank Baptist Church, 26033 Springfield Road, Oakbank, Manitoba at 1:00 p.m. Luncheon to follow. A private family interment will take place at a later date. I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Doris's recent passing. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family Dave, during this difficult time. Doris and I were roommates and became friends instantly during a brief post op recovery period at the Concordia Hospital last February. Doris had a cheerful and friendly attitude and was always there to lend a hand and provide emotional and moral support long after our hospital stay. I will remember you Doris for your love of life, your entrepreneurial spirit and your desire & ability to help every one with a big smile and such a generous heart.
