  • So very sad to hear the news about Josie. My deepest sympathies and thoughts and prayers with Jeff , Alli and Matt. I was lucky enough to work with Josie at RBC at the Osborne & Walker branch, and than later on at Ellice center. She was an amazing leader and had a huge impact on me in my career and life. even today, in my job, when I have to make decisions, I think about what Josie would have done. When we worked together, her pride and love for her family came through- talking about the kids and what they were into, or where they had moved. I remember her talking about Hawaii, and the peace she found when she was there. Sending you love and peace, and sympathy in this sad time. - Posted by: Dawn Piche (Past co-worker) on: Feb 10, 2016

  • I was saddened to hear of Josie's passing and want to send my condolences to Jeff , Matthew and Michelle and Alli and Caleb. I had curled with Josie at Rossmere for numerous years until Josie moved to Ontario. She often spoke of her family, her dogs and stories of Alli and her curling....she was so very proud of her family! She will be in my heart and prayers. - Posted by: Vida Reader (Friend) on: Feb 10, 2016

  • I was truly saddened to hear that Josie had passed. I know how much her family meant to her as I recall numerous stories that she shared with me over the years at work about her fishing trips to Point Du Bois with Jeff and how proud she was of both Matt and Alli and all of their accomplishments. She was so looking forward to her retirement and spending that time in the new home she and Jeff were building. She had a heart of gold and a smile she shared with everyone she came across. My thoughts are with you all and hope you can take comfort in your memories and each other at this difficult time. - Posted by: Cindy Rosger (RBC Colleague) on: Feb 09, 2016

  • My deepest condolences on the passing of Josie. We worked together at RBC in Selkirk branch for a few years. Josie was such a positive influence with staff members, always upbeat, and a tremendously caring person. I can honestly say that she was a true friend, as well as my boss. She knew how to bring out the best in all of her staff, and we all loved her. I will never forget how she supported everyone and instilled a sense of pride in us. I was shocked to learn that she had passed away. She always spoke with pride of her family and I remember how she supported her own mother when sick. A true angel that I am honoured to have known and remember. Be assured that she will still be keeping watch over all of you, and continue to guide you in all of your endeavours. A celebration of her life in Hawaii is very appropriate. - Posted by: Linda Bukoski (co-worker) on: Feb 07, 2016

  • I'm deeply saddened by the news of Josie's passing. She was such a spark growing up with her in Transcona, and later when we met when Alli and Jason became friends it was always great to catch up again.
