JACQUELINE BEVERLEY BAGOT
Born: Feb 08, 1950
Date of Passing: Feb 06, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACQUELINE BEVERLEY BAGOT (nee MISURKA) February 8, 1950 - February 6, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jacqueline Beverley Bagot (nee Misurka); loving wife, mom, sister, grandmother, auntie and cherished friend. Jacquay is survived by her husband Peter; son Daniel (Kirsten); daughter Megan (Algernon); sister Sharon; nephew Tony; nieces, Karen, Mandy and Lauren; mother-in-law Aquila; brother-in-law Doug; and four grandchildren, Matteus, Andreas, Kateryna and Aquila, along with numerous members of the extended family and many deep friendships. Jacquay was born in Winnipeg in 1950 to William (Bill) and Dorothy (Dot) Misurka (nee White). At the age of 10, the family moved to the Windsor Park area, where Jacquay would lay the foundations for a life that was full of loving family connections, meaningful friendships and where she would meet her future husband and soulmate, Peter. Jacquay's life was all about people and caring for and about them. She had an uncanny ability to retain all the small, important details about everyone she met, even casual acquaintances. The effect of this was powerful on those who were lucky enough to have their lives cross paths with hers. With Jacquay you always knew you were in the presence of kindness and generosity where a good hug, a kind smile and an understanding ear were at the ready. A service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 881 Autumnwood Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba, followed by a reception in the hall. The family invites you to bring a favourite photo of Jacquay to add to a photo collage on display. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jacquay's name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.

I have taught many people yoga over the past 28 years, and Jacquay stands out as a student who always came to class with a big smile on her face, gave her full attention to everything she was being taught, and never left without expressing "Great class! Thank you!" She was very excited when she learned I was going to be a Grandma. "You are going to Love it!" she told me. "It is absolutely The Best!" You were right Jacquay - it IS the best. How I wish you could have stayed much longer on this earth - you were a delight. We are all going to miss you. My heartfelt condolences to your husband, your children, and especially your precious grandchildren. - Posted by: Sandra Stuart (Yoga friends) on: Feb 13, 2016

I was so shocked at hearing of the very untimely loss of Jacquay...I know what soulmates you two were Peter; Daniel she freely shared the love for you and Kirsten and those so wanted grandkids you gave her; and Megan, the many conversations of your meeting your mate to marriage prep were filled with joy lots of laughter some wine....two mothers wanting to see there children all into a future. Sounds like another grandchild came forth also. Although I only entered your wife and mothers life through our shared work with children the magnetism of her true and honest first "welcome" bonded a friendship to grow forth, and I truly anticipated we would connect and have lunch again this spring! How clear the revelation, we never know! I feel tremendous sadness for you Peter , Daniel and Megan et al yet know how blessed you all are to have had Jacqueline be your very "besty"! It is hard to believe I am writing this tribute to Jacquay. My condolences to Peter, Dan, Megan and all of their families. After moving on to Red Oak Drive we were greeted by Jacquay welcoming us on to the street, and of course her famous blueberry muffins. Our friendship grew from there and even after we moved away from the street we celebrated many birthdays and our traditional gathering on Boxing Day. Jacquay always amazed me on how she was so organized, whether it was preparing meals and having everything on the table hot from the oven, or always managing to have your birthday card arrive on the day of your birthday. We have laughed and we have cried more times than I can remember. Jacquay, you will be missed. - Posted by: Bev McNamara (friend) on: Feb 12, 2016

Jacquay would have known exactly what to say at a time like this. I was always impressed by how much thought she put into the selection and wording of each notecard that she wrote for a birthday, a special occasion, a thank-you or to send on a photo of a moment shared. I am happy to have known Jacquay and am saddened for your loss. Sympathy and love to all! - Posted by: Debbie Edwards (Montreal friend) on: Feb 11, 2016

There was nothing better than a day with Jacquay at the child guidance clinic office. Her warmth and friendliness made it so easy to enjoy the day chatting about everything. It would make the mountain of tiny laminated cards we were cutting out actually fun. Jacquay made the effort to keep in touch after I left the school division and for that I am so grateful. I always looked forward to getting together or a good chat on the phone. She will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to you Peter and your family at this difficult time. - Posted by: Averil Arendt (Coworker and friend) on: Feb 11, 2016
