JERRY (JERROLD ) SHELDON GOLDENBERG May 1, 1943 - January 5, 2016 With sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Jerry Goldenberg after a brief battle with Mesothelioma at Victoria Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin and Sadie Goldenberg; and in laws, Joe and Esther Roman. Left to cherish his memory are his loving family, wife Beth; children, Jonathan and Sharon, and Laura and Shechar; cherished grandchildren, Ben and Jonah Goldenberg and Shoshana, Eliana, and Mira Dworski; brothers, David ( Barbara) and Murray ( Patricia ); sister- in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Elliot Katz; and aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jerry had many interests, but above all, enjoyed watching his grandchildren's activities, spending time at the family cottage at Winnipeg Beach, and riding his bicycle whenever possible. Special thanks go to all the supportive people in his life, to Jerry's brother David, nephew Benji for their ongoing medical guidance, to Linda and Elliot Katz for being there every step of the way, ( to Judi Roman for her solace ), and to Elaine and Bert Schaffer for all their assistance. Our appreciation goes to all of Jerry's doctors, particularly Dr. W. Glew and Dr. M. Shepertycky, who were always available to him for advice and compassion. Finally, thank you to the dedicated staff of Victoria Hospital, who worked tirelessly on his behalf.
