Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEVE WARNER February 4, 1986 February 15, 2015 "A helping hand to all he knew So kind, so generous and so true" Steve passed away suddenly from an undiagnosed heart disease at the age of 29. Steve helped in the family business from an early age. He worked at various jobs over the years and most recently he was the maintenance manager at the condo complex where he lived. Steve had completed his firefighter certification in Winnipeg and Dallas, Texas and was only a few weeks away from a job interview with the Calgary Fire Department. Steve was always a caring, giving person and gave countless hours to charities and good causes including the Firefighter's burn fund, Childhood cancer, Agape Table, the Salvation Army, Al Ateen and Al Anon. Steve had most recently been named the recipient of the N.E. McLeod Kinsmen of the Year Award by the Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg. Steve had many hobbies and was an avid collector of scale model cars, cameras, and firefighting memorabilia. A thousand words won't bring you back; We know because we've tried. Neither will a thousand tears; We know because we've cried. Love Dad and Gaye.
