BEN ELSETH Peacefully and suddenly at home, Ben passed away on February 11, 2016. Ben will be missed by his wife, Marie; son, Ethan; stepdaughters, Shannon (Jason) and Jessica; and grandchildren, Trey, Cassidy and Delaney. Ben was born and raised in Newfolden, MN and moved to Winnipeg when he married Marie. Ben always remained closely connected to Newfolden. He enjoyed many visits there with his son, Ethan, family, and many friends. Ben and Marie moved to Winnipeg Beach in 2011, where they fell in love with the area and bought their cottage home. Ben worked at Selkirk General Hospital, where he took great pride in his security job. He loved the people he worked with. Ben will be remembered by many for the countless moments and memories he gave us all. Thank you to our neighbour who provided support and assistance at a critical time. Thank you to the emergency responders. As Ben wished, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral. If you wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
