RODNEY (ROD) (SMITTY) SMITH On February 16, 2016 Rod Smith peacefully left us in the comfort of his home, in Winnipeg, MB with his wife and two sons by his side. Rod was predeceased by his mother Patricia. Rod is survived by his loving wife Rose, two sons Kevin and Derek, his father Ernie, siblings Steve (Karen), Margaret (Gord) and Karen (Pat), his in-laws, Roger and Olga, Paul and Debby, Lorraine and Gary, Jackie and Wade. As well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends. Respecting Rod's wishes no formal service will be held but a celebration of Rod's life gathering will be held on Tuesday, February 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. over refreshments at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street.
