  • We were at first confused and then stunned and deeply saddened at the news that our long-time friend Lorraine had died. Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris, the girls and the family at this difficult time. Lorraine was kind, fun-loving, passionate and, yes, argumentative. We will miss her. - Posted by: Matthias Laucht & Marlene Pauls Laucht (long-time friends) on: Feb 23, 2016

  • I'm writing on behalf of my mom Bev Lee and our family to extend our deepest sympathy to your family on the passing of Lorraine. My mom and Lorraine were good friends for many, many years. Lorraine was a bridesmaid for my mom back in 1971. My mom also enjoyed a wonderful trip with Lorraine and Maureen to St. Maarten in the early 80's. Although they didn't see each other often, my mom considered her a good friend and looked forward to hearing from her at Christmas and getting caught up on family news. My mom is in hospital at this time but will be deeply saddened to hear about Lorraine's passing. You will be in our prayers.
