LYNN M. BORSA February 20, 1949 - February 18, 2016 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Lynn Borsa at Concordia Hospital. Lynn is finally at peace after her chronic pain and suffering. She has gone to join her predeceased parents, Tom and Anne Cunningham; and beloved pet, Boomer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Nick; her loving children, Bob (Lisa) and Tom (Bonnie); loving grandchildren, Megan, Brenden, Alexander and Mya; and her loving sister, Donna. Lynn (lovingly referred to as Baba Bee) adored her grandchildren and pet, Molly the second. She loved gardening, especially growing flowers, and also enjoyed crafting. Lynn also enjoyed spending time at the cabin and catching the "big ones" on Quesnel Lake. Lynn also valued the time she spent with her neighbours, drinking coffee and having animated discussions. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Concordia Hospital and CancerCare Manitoba. Also, a special thanks to her wonderful Concordia roommate, Jacqueline Del Monte, who provided friendship, lots of laughs and much compassion in her final days. As per Lynn's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place with family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba. Aboriginal Funeral Chapel 204-586-7700

  • I thank the Borsa family and especially Lynn for accepting me as a young teenage boy into their home, feeding me lunch and supper and giving me a safe place during my school and hockey years. I can remember my mother Marie and Lynn in the stands with their cowbells and Tom deeking around a whole hockey team as I was either in the penalty box or thrown outta the game Thanks Borsas, Lynn you were a good mother, wife and raised two beautiful sons and had a great impact on the "Stray Cats" like me - Posted by: Roland Vandal (Family friend) on: Feb 27, 2016
