Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE (MIDGE) DE PAPE Marjorie (Midge) De Pape, born July 27, 1953 was suddenly taken away from us on Friday, February 26, 2016. Midge was predeceased by her parents George and Laura. Left behind to cherish her memory are her three children, Michael Elgar (Teena), Stacy MacDonald (Barrett), Marnie McKee (Tom), grandchildren Lyla McKee and Clark MacDonald. Her best friend Gerry Arnal and daughters Audrey (James), Marnie (Marc) and special Gramidge to Liam, Declan, Lexie, Devynn, and Connor. Also left to mourn are her sister Donna (Ingrid), brothers Doug (Cathy), twin brother Murray (Yvette), John (Kerry), and numerous nieces and nephews. Midge loved to travel and participate in every excursion they offered ("well you don't want to miss anything do you"). She was one of those special people that could light up the room with her sparkling eyes, beautiful smile, and contagious laughter. When she walked in; either at the lake or at a Presidents Dinner, you just knew she was special. Mom/Midge, you were so vibrant, and full of life; everyone loved being around you and you always knew the right thing to say or do to bring comfort in good times and bad. You left us way too soon but you'll always be loved and never be forgotten. Love always. A memorial of Midge's life will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Located at 4000 Portage Avenue West. If desired, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Midge's memory. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. I worked with Midge in the early '90s at Pioneer Ave. Midge was a really great person and had a very hearty laugh. Although we hadn't worked together for awhile we still would chat every once in awhile. My condolences to all her family members. She was a great lady and will be missed! - Posted by: Elaine Bell (co-worker) on: Mar 02, 2016

Midge worked at MTS office at 627 Erin Street for a while in the mid 2000's - before she left for Brandon to work at the main office there. What a sunny, wonderful person with such a great sense of humor. She will be missed - and gone way too soon - not fair - heaven must have put out the call for some great people - Midge was the best! - Posted by: Joanne Weir (co-worker) on: Mar 02, 2016
