Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE CLAIRE ELIDA DENISE GAUTHIER It is with profound sadness that we have to announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend, Florence Claire Elida Denise Gauthier, on the beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon of February 27, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. Left to celebrate her life are daughters, Sarah (Ryan), Chrystal (Jay); son Julien (Logan); grandchildren, Seth, Spencer, Corey, Kylie, Chevy and Hunter; brothers and sisters, Robert (Val), Paul (Anita), Simone (Ashley), Richard (Andrea), Lucy (Rob), Phil (Michele), Ray, David (Richard); also her absolute special friends, Mitch (Donna) and countless nieces, nephews great-nieces and great-nephews. Flo was a beautiful gracious person who loved her family and friends. She especially enjoyed good tunes and great times with tasty BBQs and drinks. She had the green thumb that we all wish we could have, and was the coolest grandma, meme and auntie that all our kids could have ever asked for. Our family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Hospital for all their hard work and support. A Celebration of Florence's life will be held on Saturday, March 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street, Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please make donations to the Children's Wish Foundation. Wow! I just found out that Flo passed away! So very shocked and sorry to read this sad news:( Hung out with Flo very often in the 80s, she was always so friendly, caring and fun! Was funny when she was in the hospital having her first child, I was in having mine! We had our babies on the same day:) Then when I had my second, I saw Mitch in the hall and I waddled over to him and said what are you doing here? He said we’re having our baby today! Haha.. no way? Again our children were born on same day! Back then they kept us in hospital for a week so it was nice that we were able to visit each other in the hospital and play cards before lights out!
