ARNOLD CHARLES YOUNG Born: August 2, 1951 Died: March 7, 2016 Today we have lost a wonderful soul, a wonderful dad, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend, Arnold Charles Young, but mostly known as Neetee. He is predeceased by his son Jason; his parents, Charles and Isabelle Young; brothers, Albert, Sr., Leonard, Alex; sisters, Alice, Margaret (Lizzy) and Mary, whom he referred to as his twin. He leaves behind, his loving wife Shirley, with whom he has been with for 38 years. He had six awesome children, Jolene (Chris and children: Sparrow and Domenis), Charlene (Kirk), Tyler (wife Ashling and children: Mya and Filly), Sherlyn, whom he always called Chichi (Randall and children: Izadina, Theodore and Cruz), Stephanie (children: Stephan, Tanisha, Carly, Cobra, Virginia and Maiingan) and his baby boy Errol. Also, his sisters, Lillian, Martina, Yvonne, Virginia and Mildred; brothers, Frank (Ellen), John Robert (Agnes), Louis, and Danny. He loved helping out at every wake service and funeral with his kind voice in singing gospel music with his guitar, a skill that he mastered throughout his whole life, alongside his wife Shirley. Playing country music when he was younger, with his brothers, as they all shared the skill of music. He was also a skilled carpenter for many, many years in which he built many houses for families in Bloodvein. He loved to hunt, fish and trap, things he learned from his Dad, also as a commercial fisherman with his brother Frank. He had many stories to share with everyone and often were funny. In every story a there was a lesson to be heard. He often spoke of loving his nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews and they also showed it back many times. He enjoyed going to poker at Emily Skye's home with his poker buddies. He will be greatly missed by everyone that he has known, loved by many, cherished by those he was closest to. He no longer suffers in this world but is welcomed with love as they set a place for him to sing them a song. We would like to thank all the nurses whom he often teased to the point of them loving his presence, along with his doctors, who tried their best to have him be healthy again. He chose his pallbearers which are Wilmur (Nepow), William (Panjo), Howard (Cookie Monster), Maurice (Morris), Ray (Tokyo), Niel (Eskye), friends that he loved dearly. Honorary pallbearers: mother-in-law Alma and partner Cecil, sister-in-law Imelda and Roddy; nephews, Darien, Cole, Jason, Franklin (Kakan), along with many other nephews he loved. Nieces, Brenda, Suzie, Blanche and partner Mitchell, Lisa, Cindy, Britney, Lillian, Jr. (Geish), along with the many other nieces near and far. He loved everybody and he would want you all to know that of him. Written by Charlene Greene and approved by Uncle John. Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from Eternal Grace Chapel, 1111 Logan Ave. at McPhillips from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Wake service will be held from Thursday to Saturday, March 10 to March 12 from Bloodvein Band Hall.
