MERLIN PRETTIE Merlin was suddenly taken from us at the age of 78 after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret and stepfather Harry. Merlin was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He liked to spend time with his family and his dog Milo. Merlin was a social butterfly who loved movies, music, and Pepsi. He is survived by his wife Delores, children Andrea, Trina, and Jackie (Derek), and granddaughter Ava. We would like to thank Dr. Casey Woo for the care he provided over the years, as well as a special thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital on U2 and U4. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 10, at 11:00 a.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the arthritis society. A special thanks to mom for being a devoted caregiver to dad.
