ELIZABETH ANNE DENNEHY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Dennehy. Liz passed away on March 3, 2016 at the Victoria General Hospital, Victoria, BC, with her family at her side. She is survived by her beloved children, Caitlin, Connor and their father Timothy Dennehy. She also leaves to mourn her sister Margaret Alsip; her nieces, Lisa and Allary; her cousins and the extended Dennehy family. Liz was the daughter of Hugh and Betty MacKechnie. She grew up in Winnipeg, attending St. Mary's Academy, where she made many lifelong friends. She moved to Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary, following Tim's career path. Each time she made a home for her family, recreated her own work life, while developing friendships along the way. Liz's ability to laugh and see the humour in life endeared her to all. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. A "Celebration of Life" gathering will be held Saturday, March 19 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Willow Park Golf Club, Calgary, AB.
