ROMELDA (RONEE) DIXON After a long battle with Alzheimer's, Romelda (Ronee) Dixon (nee Kehler), passed away peacefully with her husband Allen, of 43 years, by her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Olga and George Kehler, stepfather Henry Dyck, and grandson Samuel Dixon. Survived by her husband Allen Dixon, children Troy (Sarah) Dixon, Shera (Jim) Stroet, and granddaughters Callandra and Tasia, siblings Leona (Ernie) Boschmann, Wesley (Jennie) Kehler, Gwen (Terry) Gilmer, Reg (Sally) Kehler, and Valerie (Rick) Kehler, as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. She will be greatly missed. Heaven received an amazing angel. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). Romelda and I were best friends all through elementary school in Niverville. Then Romelda went to school in Winnipeg, and we slowly lost touch. I haven't seen Romelda in many years but still remember all the fun I used to have with all the Kehler kids in Niverville when we were growing up. I loved spending time there with the whole gang....
